Adidas has unveiled a new line on the NBA Store’s website that looks really familiar for Golden State Warriors fans. They’ve released a line of shirts and sweatshirts that say “Run” and the city name. Sounds like something we all know, right?
The series is inspired by the iconic rap trio, Run-DMC. The group famously wore Adidas. They also have a pretty recognizable logo, the word “Run” stacked on top of “DMC” all in between two horizontal lines.
Now, this wouldn’t raise any eyebrows except for the fact that an important part of Golden State history was inspired by the “Walk This Way” artists.
