Adam Silver says NBA's coronavirus suspension could be at least 30 days

If you're hoping the NBA season will resume when the calendar flips from March to April, we've got some bad news for you.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver made an appearance on TNT's "Inside the NBA" show Thursday and stated that he expects the hiatus to last into mid-April.

"In the two full board [of governors] meetings I had yesterday and today, no one team raised [the issue] of money, but the entire discussion was about the safety and health of the players, the community around the NBA and our fans," SIlver said. "And so of course, the issue becomes now, what we determined today is that this hiatus will be, most likely, at least 30 days, and we don't know enough, as you've all said, to be more specific, but we wanted to give direction to our players, teams and fans that this is going to be at least, roughly a month.
