3 takeaways from the Warriors’ second-straight win

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The league’s worst-rated offense met the league’s worst-rated defense in the Warriors’ 125-117 win over the Washington Wizards Monday at Capital One Arena, as that offense went on to score its fifth-highest point total of the season.

Here are three takeaways from the Warriors’ second-straight win.

Without D’Angelo Russell, the team’s leading scorer sidelined with a right quad contusion, the Warriors (12-39) turned to their second- and third-leading scorers this season.

Burks (30 points on 9-for-17 shooting, 5-for-10 from 3-point range) and Robinson (22 points on 8-for-13 shooting, 2-for-4 from 3-point range) combined to score 52 points and were responsible for nearly half of Golden State’s made 3-pointers.
