Prior to Stephen Curry‘s return against the Detroit Pistons, the Golden State Warriors ranked fourth in a deep Western Conference. Along with a stretch of losing four straight games, the Warriors haven’t played up to their usual standards.
The blame can’t be placed on Kevin Durant, who ranked second in points per game. Durant has been an animal as of late, scoring 40+ points per game in three straight games prior to the Dubs defeat of Detroit.
It also can’t necessarily be blamed on Klay Thompson. Thompson is averaging a career-high 22.
