Like every other team, the Golden State Warriors will look to improve this season. Unlike every other team, the Warriors actually have a chance to return to Finals contention with just a few right moves.
Despite a 15-50 record, the Warriors will have several avenues towards improving their roster. One of the most notable ones is their Andre Iguodala-created trade exception, a tool that could bring in a player up to $17.2 million in salary.
They’ll also have the mid-level exception and their 2020 first-round pick, one that they’ll consider trading.
The Warriors could opt to keep the pick, and if they do, it’s assumed Anthony Edwards or James Wiseman would be their pick.
