In a move that very few saw coming, the Golden State Warriors flipped Jordan Poole and the remaining years on his contract for one year of Chris Paul after he was traded to the Washington Wizards for Bradley Beal.
Trading Poole was on Warriors fans’ radar heading into the offseason but acquiring CP3 was not something that was forecasted. Paul is certainly past his prime and on paper, he does not look like the best schematic fit in Golden State’s system.
Great basketball minds always figure it out and if there is one team that can maximize Paul at this stage of his career it is the Warriors.
