The first round of the 2025 NBA Draft came and went without any drama for the Golden State Warriors. The team didn’t have a pick during the first day of the draft, and weren’t even involved in any rumors or speculation about a trade up. The closest thing to excitement for Warriors fans came when the pick they gave up in the Jimmy Butler III trade was used, and when the Orlando Magic took Jase Richardson, son of Warriors legend Jason Richardson.
But that will change today. Thursday night is the second and final day of the draft, and the second and final round, and this time the Warriors have a pick.
