2019 NBA Draft: 3 Klay Thompson substitutes the Golden State Warriors should draft

There’s no replacing Klay Thompson. He’s a top-20 player in the league, but the Golden State Warriors must do what they can to limit the hole his absence will inevitably cause. They can remedy that hole in the draft.

Over the course of the last few seasons, the Warriors have drafted for size with the lone exception being 2018 first-round pick Jacob Evans, a small forward from the University of Cincinnati. He didn’t make much of an impact for Golden State this past season.

That said, the Warriors can go a couple of directions with this pick.
