Golden State Warriors’ shooting guard Klay Thompson said it best. He said, “When guys go into free agency, they’re searching for a situation like mine or similar to our team.”
Klay’s absolutely correct, and for Anthony Davis, he’ll have the opportunity to opt out his five-year extension that he signed back in 2015. With that opportunity, he’ll have the chance to completely alter the league as we know it.
He could help create the next superteam with his decision, especially if he chooses to team up with other superstars whether in the Bay, Los Angeles or big-time NBA city.
