The Dallas Mavericks have been the epitome of resilience this entire postseason, and perhaps their finest moment was winning four of five against the vaunted Phoenix Suns. That kind of self belief and grit means that while the Golden State Warriors were up 2-0 with the series shifting to Dallas, the Mavericks were by no means out of the picture. A 2-1 series deficit is completely different when compared to a 3-0 series deficit, and so it greatly behooved the Warriors to take care of business on the road. What we got from both teams was a sometimes-ugly, never-not-entertaining contest that saw both teams create for themselves ample opportunities to take control of the game.
