Draymond Green Signs Five-Year, $85 Million Deal To Stay With Golden State Warriors

Restricted free agent Draymond Green has agreed to a five-year, $85 million contract re-sign with the Golden State Warriors, according to multiple reports. The deal does not include any player or team options.

"I'm ecstatic," Green said in a video on BleacherReport.com. "I'm proud to say I'll be a Warrior for at least the next five years. It's been a long journey to get to this point. ... Staying with the Warriors was very, very important to me, coming off a championship. And we think we can win a lot more championships."

The 25-year-old averaged a career-high 11.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.3 blocks last season, while earning All-Defensive team recognition.

Green was one of just six players to average at least a steal and a block per game last season.
