Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry won his first NBA MVP award earlier this week, capping off an incredible journey from a high schooler who didn't receive a scholarship offer from any major conference school to the best player in the world.
Curry grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and dreamed of playing for a team in the ACC. However, the only interest he got from any of those schools was from his father's alma mater, Virginia Tech, who wanted him to walk-on.
