The Golden State Warriors are set to receive a portion of the NBA’s $14 million playoff pool, but Golden State’s players and coaches still have to determine how much they ultimately will collect.
The league divides the money in the pool by paying increasing amounts based on a variety of accomplishments: best record in the regular season, being among the top six finishers in each conference, reaching and advancing through the playoffs, and reaching and winning the NBA Finals.
Golden State has already earned almost $1 million by having the best regular season record ($403,709), best record in the Western Conference ($353,316), and for making the playoffs ($208,940)
If the Warriors win the title, their total winnings would increase to $4.1 million.
