Warriors Guard Stephen Curry's Ankle Injury Places Hold Warriors Golden Year

Warriors guard Stephen Curry has injured his ankle once again. This season we have watched as Curry has surpassed our expectations and led the Warriors to a victorious first half of the season.

Curry has had numerous ankle injuries over his NBA career. In the beginning of this season, Stephen Curry injured himself during the preseason. Curry seemed to be healthy but as soon as we all forgot about Curry's ankle issues, his ankle betrayed him once again.

On Wednesday, before their game against the Miami Heat Curry sprained his ankle during shoot around. Everyone has said that the Warriors are able to win without him playing. Well, they didn’t seem to play too well against the Miami Heat without their star player. The Warriors lost 92 to 75 without Curry. With Curry now indefinitely out, Jarrett Jack has taken his place as the point guard.

Curry doesn’t need to come back just for the Warriors season. The NBA All-Stars are just around the corner and with four spots left, Curry could be voted in. This would be the Warriors first All-Star since 1997. David Lee and Curry are both in the running for the last four spots left for the All-Star team.

If everything works out and Curry comes back, there’s a chance that the Warriors can make the playoffs as well as having a Warrior play on the All-Star team this season. If all of these things fall into place, the Warriors golden year would be complete.
