Warriors 17-8 Record Best Start Since 1991-1992

The Golden State Warriors are off to their best start at 17-8 since their 1991-1992 season. They’re becoming a true team, and a threat to the rest of the NBA teams. Lebron James acknowledged that before the Warriors defeated the reigning NBA Champs.

Warriors’ fans, you can thank one person for their remarkable start to the season, Joe Lacob. As a Warriors fan myself, I was not a very big fan of Mr. Lacob when he traded Monta Ellis, but it seems like that was the best decision of Lacob’s ownership thus far. With Ellis gone, Curry has become the leader and he is definitely leading the team in the right direction.

They seem to have all of the right pieces, and the puzzle is finally fitting together. Every year every fan says, “This is the year”. Well, this may actually be the year that the Warriors make the playoffs since 2007.

Everyone had their hopes set on Bogut leading the team to victory this year. Well, with Bogut sitting on the bench resting his ankle, the Warriors seem to be doing just fine. Sure, Bogut was the missing piece to the puzzle, but that’s just because he was the key to trading Ellis and making Curry the leader.

With Curry leading the Warriors this year they seem to be unstoppable. If the Warriors keep up their performance for the rest of the month, they'll be bringing in 2013 as a winning team! We've had our ups and downs with the Warriors and they've let us down multiple times but this year seems to be different. I'm expecting big things from the Golden State Warriors this 2012-2013 season, and although we shouldn’t get our hopes up too soon, my “We Believe” sign is sitting right next to me ready for the playoffs!
