Golden State Warriors Rumors: Are the Warriors signing Seth Curry tomorrow?

...it sure looks that way. @warriorsworld is a very reputable source, and we don't think he'd tweet this unless he was extremely confident in the information.

We wrote about what Seth Curry could bring the Warriors last week, and while we still don't think he'll get much playing time at all (assuming he makes the final roster, which is a question mark in itself), his signing would still be a net positive for the organization.

Curry would be an extremely cheap backup point guard for the Warriors, and signing him at this stage essentially gives them a risk-free look at a prospect with solid potential. Warriors fans would no doubt react well to the move, and many have been pushing for it since Seth went undrafted in June.

Many of the doubts about Seth Curry's game were also raised about his brother in his rookie season, and Stephen Curry is now a legitimate NBA star. No one expects Seth to reach that level, but he's an excellent shooter who could easily develop into a reliable bench scorer in the NBA. If the signing happens as reported, expect Seth to spend a fair amount of time this year in Santa Cruz with the Warriors' D-league affiliate.
