It wasn’t a pretty game by any standard, it was sloppy and overall bad basketball for most of the game Tuesday night. In the end, Georgia was the team who was able to capitalize more on their opponents mistakes, ensuring them a sloppy but well worked for victory. For the Yellow Jackets, their loss on Saturday comes down to their inability to keep control of the ball as well as their ability to make close range shots, both contested and non-contested.
Throughout the game, Tech struggled consistently in making layups, easily missing 20-points off layups alone. Include the rather close jumpers that were off target on Tuesday night and the Yellow Jackets 17-point loss could’ve easily been by a much smaller deficit or even a potential win.
