The Yellow Jackets found themselves down 6-0 after giving up a five spot in the 3rd inning. In the top of the 4th the Yellow Jackets would make their run, with three walks and a fielders choice loading the bases for Tech.
Freshman Breanna Roper came to the plate and crushed a ball over the center field wall for her first career hit, home run, and grand slam. Fellow freshman Naomi Dickerson came on in the circle for relief holding the Cornhuskersd at 6 the rest of the game.
