The golf team finished tied for a respectable fourth place against some top competition this weekend in Alpharetta. The Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate featured highly regarded teams such as no. 3 Oklahoma State, no. 11 Wake Forest, and no. 15 Stanford. Though the weekend didn’t end with the ideal title, the fall slate of two wins in four tournaments, and never finishing lower than fourth place, proved productive for the Jackets, and, after a disappointing finish last season, they look ready to make a great run with their tremendous young talent in the spring.
