Facing coach MaChelle Joseph’s alma mater, where she remains the all-time leading scorer, Tech started neck-and-neck with the Boilermakers out of the gate, leading 12-11 at the end of the first quarter. However, the Jackets steamed forward in the second, slowly building up a 29-15 advantage. The margin held, more or less, into the half, with the Jackets ahead by thirteen.
