There are some times when you are playing football or watching the game when you know that your guys isn’t going to get caught by the defender. In Florida State’s win over Louisville on Saturday, one member of the Seminoles’ offense knew his teammate was going the distance and let the Cardinals’ defense know it.
In the third quarter, Everett Golson connected with Kermit Whitfield for what would end up being a 70 yard touchdown pass to keep the ‘Noles in the lead. If you look at the video, you can see tight end Ryan Izzo waving goodbye to both Whitfield and those who were trying to chase him down (look at the middle of the screen at about the :06 mark):
