Paul Johnson had a teleconference on Sunday night to talk to the media about last weekend’s victory over Alcorn State and this weekend’s trip to Tampa to play USF. The AJC’s Ken Sugiura provided a good recap of Johnson’s comments. Some of the highlights were:
- TaQuon Marshall’s improved passing in the second half was a concerted effort to get his confidence back after a lackluster first half through the air. Marshall was 4/12 passing in the first half but 5/6 in the second, including several plays where he was forced to scramble but kept his heads up and eyes downfield to find a receiver.
