This must be a record. So far, the Georgia Tech football team has only had one noon or 12:30 p.m. kickoff this season. The time slot is interesting, but that’s probably to encourage people to flip over to the ACCN for 30 more minutes of football once the 3:30 kickoff games end. We might even get to see the Cape Day uniforms at night. Exciting.
From all I’ve seen, the GTAA does a great job of setting up student-athletes for their futures after they graduate from Tech. The internship program discussed in the article above further cements those observations, and it’s also great that most of these internships are within Atlanta, connecting the community to the Institute and the Institute to the community.
