Even in a tough loss to a good UCF team, there were some bright spots for Georgia Tech. Most notably, RB Jahmyr Gibbs lived up to the massive hype in his debut, scoring two touchdowns and gaining 219 all purpose yards. For his performance, Gibbs was named ACC Rookie of the Week and was put on the Hornung Award’s Weekly Honor Roll (for the three most versatile players in the nation). While we don’t want him to see the field too much, P Pressley Harvin III punted a few times against the Knights. Luckily, all of his punts were bombs, with a 70-punt included in a 51.
