Georgia Tech has had a pair of games affected by Hurricane Irma. The storm, which went up Florida’s west coast over the weekend before making its way up to Atlanta yesterday forced the cancellation of this weekend’s game at UCF and changed the date of next month’s game against Miami. With Spectrum Stadium playing host to the National Guard responding to the storm, the school elected to cancel the football game. Additionally, many of UCF’s players evacuated campus in advance of the storm, meaning the team may not be able to fully reconvene in time to prepare for the game.
