This is wonderful news: After an appeal, the NCAA has approved Myles Sims waiver request and he will be immediately-eligible to play. Yes, that means tonight we could see him on the field. The news did come with some other bad news, however, as Antonneous Clayton was not as fortunate with his appeal. His appeal was rejected by the NCAA.
Though Sims appeal was granted, head coach Geoff Collins was understandably not happy with the NCAA based on Clayton’s denial. I’m glad that he made his true sentiments known in his statement regarding the decision.
