The waiver requests of Antonneous Clayton and Myles Sims have both been denied. Meanwhile, wide receiver Marquez Ezzard awaits a decision on his waiver request. It was big news when Clayton and Sims announced their intention to transfer to Tech. Then it became a waiting game regarding their waiver requests for immediate eligibility. They both decided to transfer and submitted their requests before the rules changed in June.
It would seem they should be grandfathered in, (should the new rules have been applied to them) since they made their decision before the rule change.
