The Miami Heat announced on Tuesday that Chris Bosh would be the last player in franchise history to wear #1.

Bosh, the former Georgia Tech standout, joined the Heat in 2010. Bosh would go on to win championships with the team in 2012 and 2013, alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
Bosh’s career came to an unfortunate and abrupt end, but it’s nice to see his contributions were so greatly appreciated in Miami.
