Technical Tidbits 7/26: Tech Player Earns Extra Year of Eligibility

Paging Hunter Renfrow, the ageless Clemson wonder who now plays for the Oakland Raiders. He was at Clemson for what felt like forever, and now David Curry will be getting that treatment with Georgia Tech. After redshirting his freshman year and sitting out the entire 2017 season due to injury, Curry received a waiver from the NCAA allowing him a 6th year of football eligibility, which means that after this season he’ll still have one more left. This is great news for the Tech defense, as they’ll now have a seasoned leader who will be playing a big role on and off of the field.
