Matt Kuchar looked like he was in the driver’s seat as he caught up three strokes on the front nine to tie leader Jordan Spieth. Spieth, however, was able to turn his game around and Kuchar could not hold on. He finished at -9 which was three strokes clear of third place. This was a fantastic showing for the GT alum.

I’m so ready to get this season started that I talked myself into flying into Atlanta for the opener against Tennessee. If I’m that excited for this season to get going, imagine how the players feel. Keshun Freeman and Ricky Jeune expressed their excitement at the ACC Media Days press conferences.
