When reading this, one might initially think, “Wait, didn’t the Jackets already get their ACC/Big Ten challenge opponent?” Kind of. This is the women’s basketball team’s challenge opponent, and the Badgers should hopefully be a much easier opponent for Tech in Head Coach Nell Fortner’s first year. If you don’t remember, last year the Jackets drew Maryland, a top ten team in the nation at the time, and got beat by thirteen. By comparison, Wisconsin finished 15-18 last season. Here’s to hoping that Coach Fortner and the Jackets will pull off a big win in the early stages of the season!
