It apparently took nothing more than a single game-deciding blown call to prompt the ACC to consider revising its review processes in advance of this season -- the walkoff lateral play which propelled Miami to victory over Duke last year is apparently a catalyst for the conference's decision to make changes. How that aforementioned lateral play was not blown dead in the first place is beyond me. It was beyond obvious that Miami's Mark Walton was brought down well before the seven-pitch miracle ensued, but the ACC officials were unable to come to the correct conclusion despite having quite literally all the time they needed for video review.
