I will always remember Harrison Butker, both for his fantastic play over the course of four years, but also for the 52-yard game tying field goal with time expiring against Georgia in 2013, which doubled as my first game at Sanford Stadium and my first victory over the Dawgs as a Tech fan. Unfortunately for many Tech fans he ended up at a Division rival of the Falcons, but I know I’ll be cheering for him.
Butker may have been the only Jacket drafted, but several others are headed to NFL camps as undrafted free agents. PJ Davis, an unheralded 2-star recruit turned 3 year starter, signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
