Georgia Tech baseball picked up a huge victory on Tuesday afternoon, taking down No. 11 (or No. 7) Auburn on the road to secure a season split with the one-time rival Tigers. As of right now, the schedule that Tech has played over the past few weeks looks absolutely absurd; the Jackets have played two games against No. 11 Auburn, one against No. 16 Oklahoma, and three against each of No. 5 North Carolina, No. 4 Clemson, and No. 23 Wake Forest. That stretch dates back to March 14th and features exactly one game against a team outside the top-25: a win over Mercer’s group that is currently 25-6 in their own right.
