Technical Tidbits 4/3: Magic to sign Georges-Hunt, baseball drops fourth ACC series

Georgia Tech baseball remains completely unable to find its footing in conference play, dropping a fourth-straight ACC series over the weekend to the likes of the No. 5 Clemson Tigers. The Jackets salvaged a single win following a strong pitching performance by freshman Jay Shadday on Saturday but looked absolutely inept on both Friday and Sunday, losing those two games by a combined total of 24-12 at home. The offensive numbers weren’t horrible, but giving up two dozen runs in two games is not going to get it done against a single team in this conference. There’s still time to turn it around, but we are quickly approaching the point of no return with how much this pitching staff has struggled all year long.
