Georgia Tech just can't stop beating Clemson.
It took a walk-off hit by Ryan Peurifoy in the rubber match to do it, but Georgia Tech managed to win its three-game series with rival Clemson over the weekend two games to one. The pair of wins allowed the Jackets to improve to 26-17 overall (11-13 in the ACC) heading into their final two conference series of the season against Pitt and Miami. There is still a lot of work to be done despite having a meager six ACC games remaining on the schedule for Tech, which has struggled with consistency all year long in terms of pitching and offense.
