Georgia Tech football fans got some bad news Monday as the team announced that rising junior Matthew Jordan will miss the remainder of spring practice with a foot injury. Jordan suffered the injury on a non-contact play during Saturday’s scrimmage. It is unknown as of yet whether Jordan will miss any time beyond spring practice. The most experienced of the four quarterbacks vying to replace departed starter Justin Thomas, Jordan was the presumptive leader in the quarterback competition. His injury leaves three scholarship quarterbacks fighting for playing time in spring camp, all of whom have drawn good early reviews from Coach Paul Johnson.
