Georgia Tech baseball claimed yet another series over the weekend, taking two of three from Belmont to improve to 9-2 on the season. Sunday’s game, which the Jackets dropped by a final score of 11-5 to the Bruins, was a second consecutive rocky start for Keyton Gibson, who has now given up 11 earned runs over his last 2.1 innings pitched (both starts). He now owns both of Tech’s losses on the season plus a win that he picked up during the opening series.
Meanwhile, the Jackets will kick off the ACC schedule with a trip down to Miami this weekend for a matchup with the latest uber-talented Hurricanes team.
