Georgia Tech was favored to defeat Duke and they did just that. The final score was 81-77 after Tech won the game in OT. It was senior night so this win over Duke, whom they have never defeated before, had to have been special for seniors like Jose Alvardao and Moses Wright. Wright led all scorers with 29 and Alvardao put up 10 points. What a win for the Yellow Jackets who have pretty much made a statement that they belong in the Big Dance.
This comes as no surprise to me. On Tuesday, the National Football League extended an official invitation to Tech punter Pressley Harvin III to the 2021 NFL Scouting Combine.
