Kicker Harrison Butker, Georgia Tech’s all-time leader in points scored in football and the only member of the 2016 football team to receive an NFL Combine invitation, made the absolute most of his opportunity in front of NFL scouts last week with an impressive showing in Indianapolis. One of just four kickers invited to the event, Butker shone bright among his peers by hitting 14 of 15 long field goals and excelling on kickoffs. He will certainly get an NFL shot somewhere, hopefully with a leash as long as that of Roberto “Blastoff” Aguayo with Tampa Bay last season.
