Georgia Tech took a hard loss at Wake Forest over the weekend, falling by a final score of 81-69 up in Winston Salem. The game may as well have been played a year ago at this point, but the fact is that officiating ended up being the determining factor. It was objectively poor from start to finish, resulting in Ben Lammers sitting for most of the game with foul trouble and his backup, Sylvester Ogbonda, fouling out with over ten minutes remaining in the game. Every Tech starter but Josh Heath, who was battling the flu, finished the game with four fouls, forcing Josh Pastner to go 10-deep over the course of the game.
