Georgia Tech will continue its trend of breaking out new uniform combinations for bowl games, as the school has decided to roll out the solid gold jerseys for tomorrow’s matchup with Kentucky. Good for this year’s senior class for voting in a non-honeycomb uniform for their final game; the 2014 guys also got it right with the navy blue jerseys, but various other decisions have been suspect at best. If we’re lucky, Justin Thomas will feel just as good in the solid gold this season as he did in those navy tops versus Mississippi State a couple of years back.
