Technical Tidbits 12/11: Georgia Tech Defeated by Pitt

It was a frustrating first half for the Georgia Tech Football team, with the Yellow Jackets playing Pitt close but having just enough errors to go into the half with a nine-point deficit. Particularly bad were Quez Jackson’s failed pitch and fumble on an interception return, and various coverage errors by the Tech secondary. The Yellow Jacket offense could not get anything going, especially on the ground, with 18 yards in the first half. The Jackets played much better in the second half but were hampered by extremely poor officiating. The Tech run defense was just not there, with Pitt’s leading rusher going for 247 yards.
