Technical Tidbits 1/20

A quick 1-4 start in ACC play has Georgia Tech's NCAA Tournament hopes looking dreary, writes the AJC's Ken Sugiura. Although the slow start doesn't preclude a trip to the big dance entirely, most experts claim that a 19-12 finish to the season -- which would entail winning 8 of the final 13 conference games -- is Tech's best shot. It isn't out of the realm of possibility considering that the majority of the remaining games will be either at home or against manageable opposition, but losses to the ETSUs and VTs of the world are not helping the team's case.
