Last year the Georgia Tech football team was one of the youngest in the country, and with only four seniors departing, it still is one of the youngest in the country this year. The inexperience has led to many errors throughout the first few games of the season. There have been a lot of procedural penalties, interceptions, and fumbles. Freshman QB Jeff Sims has already passed James Graham’s INT total (7) from last year (he has 8), although some of those turnovers can be put on poor blocking by the offensive line. Luckily, the Jackets were able to take advantage of the bye week to try and get things in order before facing Louisville Friday at 7 p.
