True freshman punter Pressley Harvin III got some good news on Monday when he was added to the Ray Guy Award watchlist. The Ray Guy Award is given annually to the top punter in the FBS and Harvin is certainly making his case. Through seven games, Harvin leads all freshman and ranks 7th nationally with an average of 46 yards per punt. Maybe more impressive is that Harvin’s two best games have come in suboptimal conditions on big stages. Against Miami he downed 4 kicks inside the 20, including a 62 yarder. Last weekend against Clemson he boomed 5 punts that traveled at least 50 yards.
