Georgia Tech’s fortunes have nosedived in recent years when it come to success against teams that the Jackets have historically beaten up on (Duke and Clemson, anybody?), but the past two seasons have yielded an opposite trend for the Virginia Tech series. The Jackets are 2-0 against third-year head coach Justin Fuente, an especially surprising mark given his lofty expectations and the fact that Virginia Tech looks like a stronger team on paper just about every year. This time around, Fuente wants his team to “stick together” against the Jackets — something that would be a first for sure.
