While the Georgia Tech football team has not been great the past couple of games, there is marked improvement overall from last season. Unfortunately, that improvement has been offset by a number of procedural penalties and turnovers. Tech special teams have also not been great. Some of the blame can be placed on the players, but the majority should go on the coaches. Luckily, this week is a bye week and gives the Jackets a chance to clean things up on all sides of the ball. The solid play is there, it is now just about minimizing mistakes that maximize your chance to lose a football game.
