Well, it’s safe to say that Georgia Tech’s turnover issues weren’t that big of a deal Friday night. Instead, it was Louisville that gave the ball away three times on fumbles. These turnovers were capitalized on by the Jacket offense, with QB Jeff Sims throwing for two touchdowns and carrying for one. Another key asset to the offense was RB Jahmyr Gibbs, who has already become one of five Georgia Tech players to record a rushing and receiving touchdown in the same game at least twice in their careers (h/t Andy Demetra). This Saturday against Clemson could be a different story, so let’s enjoy the victories while they last.
