It’s a new week and there is a new series from the From the Rumble Seat staff’s countdown to the 2020 football season. This week features the “Five Newbies to Watch For” series. Yesterday’s first of the five part series featured Jordan Williams. I like how the series is starting off giving due credit to one of the offensive lineman, in this case incoming freshman Williams. Offensive lineman (and defensive lineman as well for that matter) are the unsung heroes of every successful football team. As the article implies, for offensive lineman their numbers often get buried in the stat books and they’re often overlooked in the highlight reels; however, ask any coach and they’ll tell you that a good team is often built from the inside out.
